This route starts from Streamside in Chew Magna, just next to the primary school (postcode BS40 8QZ). Chew Magna is a lovely rural area with miles of footpaths to explore. This route will take you through a lot of fields with livestock in, as well as some arable farmers fields and some small sections of woodland. The highlight of this walk for us is it takes you through part of Chew Valley Animal Park, where my boys got to meet a donkey, some shetland ponies and some llamas - all of which were mutually very interested in each other! This route has a few confusing sections of footpaths where farmers have put up fencing, and one gate we had to climb over as it was locked.
