The walk is so lovely in the summer. The river is really clean and deep enough for dogs to chase a stick, just be mindful that there are sometimes fishermen the other side of the river so don’t disturb them! I often walk along to the end of the river and just turn back as it really is beautiful, but there is also a loop you can do that I have drawn in the route shown. The last leg of the journey is on a road though so please take care with your dogosaurs. You can park right next to the footpath if there is space, or you can park at The Bell pub, and finish there for a pint as they are dog friendly!
